How do I manage my product sort order?

You are able to manage your collections sort order. This can only be done via the CSV.

 

The recommendation for sort order is that products be assigned numbers in increments of 10, first product=10, second product =20 etc. This allows room to add other products in between without having to reorganize your whole file. 

 

If you know where you want to insert future products you can leave a larger space for those products.  For example, if you know you want to load a Spring Collection of 20 new titles between the 10th and 11th product, you can leave a larger gap to accommodate those new titles.  So the sort order would be:

 

9=90

10=100

11=300

12=310

13=320

 

This way, when it's time to add the products that you want to sort between 12 and 13, you will have plenty of rows available for all your additions.
