Welcome to the step-by-step guide for setting up your MeetRibbon Shopify integration. This guide walks you through the entire setup process, including how to sync products, orders, and inventory. With our latest update, international users with non-USD currencies can now connect their stores using Shopify Markets!

STEP 1: What To Do on Your Shopify Portal!
Log into your Shopify admin account > Click on Settings in the bottom left menu.
Navigate to Apps > Select Develop Apps.
- Click Develop App enter a recognisable name (e.g., “Shoppe Object” or “Aesthetic Movement”), and click Create App.
Note: Please copy the URL under MyStore on a notepad- (You will need this while integrating)
Eg:- a2y8qk-72.myshopify.com
- Click on Create App -> Enter you App Name -> Click on Create
- Create a Version scroll down to Access Scope enter the red marked below scope in the space.
Shopify Required Permissions:write_draft_orders,read_draft_orders,write_inventory,read_inventory,read_orders,write_orders,read_products,unauthenticated_read_product_inventory,unauthenticated_read_product_listings,unauthenticated_read_product_tags,write_publications,read_publications,write_markets,read_markets,write_customers
- After entering the access details click on release at the bottom of the page.
- Ignore the Pop Up and click on Release
- Click on Home
- Click on Install App
- You will be navigated to Shopify Store window click on the first option.
Note: Keep in mind you were initially on settings window you'll need to go back to it.
- Click on Install
- Go back to your first window, the Shopify Settings window
- Go to settings - Please copy Client ID and Secret ID from here on your Notepad. This will help you set up your Ribbon<>Shopify Integration

STEP 2: Connect Your Shopify Store to MeetRibbon
Log into your Workdesk > Navigate to the Integrations tab
Enter the following details:
- Shopify Store URL (formatted as yourstorename.myshopify.com). - copied earlier
- Client ID
- Secret ID
Once all the information is entered click on Connect to complete the integration.
Now you can start syncing your products from Shopify:
- From your left side bar menu, navigate to the Products tab and click Import from Shopify
- Choose how you want to import your products by following the prompts.
1. Go to your Products tab in MeetRibbon
Click on Import from Shopify.
Follow the prompts to import your products. You can select all products or specific products by selecting a tag.
2. Adjust Pricing.
If you’re using retail pricing, you can calculate your wholesale pricing based on your markup.
3. Edit and Publish Your Products.
Once imported, products will be in drafts.
Make any necessary changes, edit variants, and add categories or filters.
⚠️ Please Note: Only products with SKUs will sync. Ensure all your products have SKUs before importing.
Once your products have finished syncing, go to your Drafts tab.
Review the imported products. Here, you can make updates, add categories, and edit attributes as needed before publishing.
⚠️ If there are products with issues like missing SKUs or images, click on the Products Contain Errors tab. Fix the products with issues directly on the platform.
When you are ready to publish, select either all products or choose specific ones to make visible.
Click Publish to make your products live. 🎉
Troubleshooting:
Q: What if my products don’t sync?
A: Make sure all products have SKUs, as products without them will not sync successfully.
